For years I played hardcourt tennis. 2-3 hours on Saturday, then again on Sunday. Come Monday morning I could feel the stiffness and pain in my feet from running around on concrete all weekend. Back in the day we would use an old tennis ball and roll it on the bottom of the feet. Worked pretty good, feet felt better, ball went into the drawer and about six months later I would wonder where the ball was and pull it back out of the drawer.
After repeating this pattern for twenty years I came to the realization that I should keep the ball out and use it on an ongoing basis. Genius, the learning curve was steep…
Here is the best part of the story. I’ve put the ball next to my toothbrush and every time I brush my teeth I’m reminded to roll the ball on the bottom of my feet as I’m brushing my teeth!
No more lazy, inconsistent attempts to do the right thing. I’m now like clockwork in massaging the feet! Try this.
